TY - JOUR TI - STEM Education For Gifted Student AB - STEM education is great importance for gifted students because it can be gain to them the 21stcentury skills. In this study, STEM activities have been developed and applied for gifted students. The studygroup consisted of 11 gifted students in different age groups studying in the Science and Art Center in Çankırıprovince. Implementations continued 40 hours in total for five weeks in two groups. Observation notes, activitypapers and opinion reporting texts written by the researcher-practitioner teacher during the application were usedas data collection tools. Qualitative data were analyzed by using descriptive and content analysis methods. At theend of the study, the students' opinions and the observation notes of the researcher-practitioner teachers revealedthe benefits and effectiveness of STEM education for the implementation of special skills and the problems thatcould be encountered during the application.
