TY - JOUR TI - Testing a Couple Burnout Model AB - In this study, couple burnout has been tested with career burnout,dyadic adjustment, spousal support and spousal emotional jealousy instructural equation model. The study participants consisted of 576married individuals who work in public institutions and accept toparticipate in this study in 2013. For the purpose of collecting dataThe Couple Burnout Scale, The Burnout Scale, The Spousal SupportScale, The Dyadic Adjustment Scale, The Spousal Emotional JealousyScale and Personal Information Questionnaire have been used.According to the Couple Burnout Model Test, career burnout anddyadic adjustment are related to couple burnout directly andsignificantly whereas spousal support-with the mediating role ofdyadic adjustment-is related to couple burnout significantly. However,it is found that spousal support and spousal emotional jealousy is notrelated to couple burnout significantly. Spousal emotional jealousyand career burnout is not related to couple burnout significantly withthe mediating role of dyadic adjustment. Additionally, it is observedthat the result of the Couple Burnout Model Test is at “acceptablelevel”.
