Sporcularda Ergojenik Destekler

Ergogenic Supplements in Athletes

Öz:
Ergogenic supplements can be described as substancesor methods that help to produce or do business. They are usually takenfrom natural and daily nutrition in the form of liquid, powder, gel ortablet forms of nutrients. These supplements are used for many purposes such as improving performance and capacity, accelerating healing, reducing muscle injuries and fatigue. The use of ergogenicsupplements has increased considerably in recent years, and a new supplement is on the market almost every week. The main goal of the athletes is to provide the best performance in their sports branches. Forthis reason, most athletes use ergogenic supplements to achieve theirgoals and gain advantages over their competitors. The increasing interest in these ergogenic supplements needs to be focused on this issue.Although some ergogenic suplements have been shown to have positiveeffects on athletes performances, they are present in many commercially available products that directly affect athletes healths. Evidenceof the effects of ergogenic supplements are limited and contradictory. The articles reviewed for this aim, there are few studies that prove theirpositive effect except for a few ergogenic supports. It should not be forgotten that the improvement of the body, the protection of health andimprovement of sport performance can only be achieved through a balanced, regular and appropriate nutrition. In addition, these productsshould not be used, a dietician who is trained in the field should be absolutely help. The aim of this review is to examine the effects of ergogenic supplements on athletes with the current literature reviewincluding the studies of the last 15 years.
