KRONİK ÜVEİT HASTALIĞI OLAN ÇOCUĞA SAHİP EBEVEYNLERİN COVİD-19 PANDEMİSİ SÜRECİNE İLİŞKİN DENEYİMLERİ
Öz: Bu araştırmanın amacı, kronik üveit hastalığı olan çocuğa sahip ebeveynlerin Covid-19Pandemisi döneminde çocuklarının hastalık durumu ve tedavi sürecine ilişkin yaşamdeneyimlerini görünür kılmaktır. Nitel araştırma deseninin kullanıldığı bu çalışmadafenomenolojik yaklaşımdan yararlanılmıştır. Çalışmaya, kronik üveit hastalığı tanısıkonulup, Ankara Üniversitesi Tıp Fakültesi Göz Hastalıkları Anabilim Dalı’nda tedavileridevam eden 10 çocuğun 15 ebeveyni katılmıştır. Veri toplama aracı olarak sosyodemografik bilgi formu ve yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme formu kullanılmıştır. Çalışmakapsamında elde edilen verilerin analizinde, tematik analiztekniği kullanılmıştır. Analizsürecinde MAXQDA nitel analiz programından yararlanılmıştır. Ebeveynlerin Covid-19Pandemisi sürecindeki yaşam deneyimlerinde, ekonomik ve psiko-sosyal sorunlar,alınan tedbirlerin etkisi ve sorunlarla başetme stratejileri olmak üzere dört ana temaön plana çıkmıştır. Bu kapsamda ailelere ekonomik ve psiko-sosyal desteğinsağlanılması, çocuklarının sağlık hizmetlerinden etkin bir şekilde yararlanabilmeleriiçin sağlık hizmetlerine erişiminin kolaylaştırılması önemlidir.

Öz: The aim of this research is to make visible the life experiences of parents with children having chronic uveitis disease during the Covid-19 Pandemic period regarding the disease status and treatment process. In this study, qualitative research design and the phenomenological approach was used. 15 parents of 10 children who were diagnosed with chronic uveitis disease and whose treatments are continuing in Ankara University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Ophthalmology, participated in the study. Socio-demographic information form and semi-structured interview form were used as data collection tools. Thematic analysis technique was used in the analysis of the data obtained within the scope of the study. MAXQDA qualitative analysis program was used in the analysis process. In the life experiences of parents during the Covid-19 Pandemic process, four main themes came to the fore: economic and psycho-social problems, the effect of the measures taken, and coping strategies. In this context, it is important to provide economic and psycho-social support to families and to facilitate their children's access to health services so that they can benefit from health services effectively.
