TY - JOUR TI - Asymmetric Causality Relationship between Energy Consumption and Economic Growth: Sample of Selected Turkish Republics AB - This study aims to investigate the causality relationship between energy consumption and GDP in 4 TurkishRepublics including Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan. Unlike many studies in theliterature, the relationship between the variables is analyzed by asymmetric causality test for the periodbetween 1990 and 2018. The results of the analyses reveal that the Growth hypothesis is valid in Azerbaijaneconomy while the Feedback hypothesis is valid in Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan economies. However, theresults obtained for Turkmenistan do not allow making a general conclusion from economic aspects.
