TI  - Reconstruction of an Isolated Unilateral Aplasia of Right Alar Cartilage
AB  - Congenital nasal anomalies regarding lower third of thenose including alar cartilages and columella are very rare. Hypoplasiaor aplasia of medial and lateral crural cartilages as well as columellamay be seen. These defects may result in varying degrees of functionaland cosmetic problems. In this study, we reported a septorhinoplastycase in which we encountered an isolated congenital aplasia of the rightalar cartilage. We presented our reconstruction technique and reviewedrelative literature data. In this study, we aimed to increase the awarenessof clinicians about this extremely rare clinical condition and to give anidea for possible reconstruction techniques.
