Köpeklerde spirocercosis olguları
Öz: Çalışma, 2000-2002 yılları arasında Erciyes Üniversitesi Veteriner Fakültesi Patoloji Anabilim Dalında, Kayseri Büyükşehir Belediyesi köpek bakım evinden temin edilen 90 sokak köpeğinde yapılmıştır. Klinik muayenelerde; hasta ve sakat, tedaviye cevap veremeyecek durumda, yaşlan belli olmayan, melez sokak köpekleri listenon ile ötenazi işlemine tabii tutuldu. Sistemik nekropsisi yapılan köpeklerde, dıştan seroza ile çevrili fındıktan portakal büyüklüğüne kadar ulaşan tek veya çok sayıdaki nodüler yapılara rastlanmıştır; bunların 24'ü özofagusta, 2'si midenin kardiasmda ve 3'ü arcus aortada saptanmıştır. Bu nodüllerden yapılan patolojik ve parazitolojik incelemelerde köpeklerden 29'unda (% 32.22), spirocercosis olgusu saptanmıştır. Spirocercosis saptanan köpeklerde parazitin dokularda yerleşimi ve histopatolojik bulguları tanımlanmıştır.

Spirocercosis in dogs
Öz: This study was prepared at the Pathology Department in Veterinary Faculty of Erciyes University in 2000-2002 and was done on the ninty crossbred street dogs which are selected from the municipal boarding home for dogs of Kayseri. During the medical examinations that made clinically; euthanasia was done by giving lystenon to the crossbred street dogs at different ages, that were patient and disabled ortapedically and give no response to the medical treatments. Different numbers of noduler structures (one on few) in different sizes (the smallest with the size of a nut, the largest with the size of an orange) and covered with serosa membran, was seen on the dogs that the systemic necropsy has been made, these were; in 24 of them at oesophagus, in 2 of them at the cardia of stomach and in 3 of them at arcus aorta. In the pathological and the parasitological examinations of these nodules, spirocercosis was detected at 29 (% 32.22) of these dogs. The settlement of the parasite in tissues its histopathological findings were defined at the dogs that the spirocercosis was found.
