Ebeveynlik Görevleri Kontrol Listesi’nin Türkçeye Uyarlama Çalışması

Öz:
Bu araştırmanın amacını, Sanders ve Woolley (2005) tarafından geliştirilen Ebeveynlik Görevleri Kontrol Listesi’nin Türkkültürüne uyarlanması oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmanın çalışma grubuna, 24-48 aylık çocuğa olan 214 anne oluşturmuştur.Uyarlama çalışmasına ölçeğin kaynak dilden hedef dile çevrilmesiyle başlamış olup, uzman görüşü alma, dilsel eşdeğerlikve ön pilot çalışmalarıyla esas uygulama öncesi ölçeğin Türkçe formuna son hali verilmiştir. Ölçeğin yapı geçerliğinibelirlemek amacıyla yapılan doğrulayıcı faktör analizi sonuçları Türkçeye uyarlanmış ölçeğin iki alt boyuttan oluştuğunugöstermiştir. Çalışmada, faktör yük değerlerinin yanı sıra model-veri uyumuna işaret eden bir takım uyum indekslerindende faydalanılmıştır. Ölçeğin iki alt boyutunun her biri için Cronbach Alpha katsayısı hesaplanmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda,Ebeveynlik Görevleri Kontrol Listesi’nin iki alt boyut ve 28 madde olarak Türk kültürüne uyarlandığı belirlenmiştir. Ölçeğin24-48 ay arasındaki çocukların annelerin öz yeterliklerini ölçmede geçerli ve güvenilir bir ölçme aracı olduğu sonucunaulaşılmıştır.

Adaptation of the Parenting Tasks Checklist into Turkish

Öz:
The aim of the present study is to adapt “The Parenting Tasks Checklist (PTC)” developed by Sanders and Woolley (2005) into the Turkish culture. A total of 214 mothers having 24–48-month-old children participated in the study. In the adaptation process, the scale was first translated from the source language to the target language. Then, the Turkish form that secured the linguistic equivalence was finalized before the primary implementation considering the expert opinions and pilot study results. Confirmatory factor analysis was made to determine the scale's construct validity, and the results showed that the Turkish form consisted of two sub-dimensions. In addition to factor load values, the study also used specific fit indices indicating the model-data fit. Cronbach Alpha coefficient was calculated for each of the two sub-dimensions of the scale. The findings revealed that the Parenting Tasks Checklist (PTC) was adapted to the Turkish culture as 28 items in two subdimensions. It has been concluded that the instrument is valid and reliable to measure the self-efficacy of mothers of 24–48- month-old children.
