Öz:

This study was performed in Balıkesir, Bursa, Çanakkale provinces of Turkey. Six species of robber flies, Choerades fimbriata (Meigen), Scytomedes haembrrhoidalis (Fabricius), Habropogon decipiens Theodor, Asilus crabroniformis Linnaeus, Tolmerus tivonensis Theodor, Aneomochtherus perplexus (Becker), are proovedfor the first time forTurkey. Short descriptions of the species are added.
