Ninth Grade Students' Understanding of the Nature of Scientific Knowledge

Öz:
Bu çalısmanın amacı lise 1 ögrencilerinin bilimsel bilginin dogasını nasıl algıladıklarını ve bu bilginin cinsiyete ve okul türüne baglı olarak degisip degismedigini saptamaktır. Arastırmaya dört farklı okul türünden (devlet lisesi, anadolu lisesi, meslek lisesi ve süper lise) 575 ögrenci katılmıstır. Veriler “Bilimsel Bilginin Dogası Ölçegi” kullanılarak toplanmıs ve çoklu varyans analizi kullanılarak analiz edilmistir. Sonuçlar lise 1 ögrencilerinin bilimsel bilginin dogasını algılamasının cinsiyete ve okul türüne baglı olarak degistigini göstermistir. Ayrıca katılımcıların büyük bir kısmının bilimsel bilginin dogası hakkında yeterli bilgiye sahip olmadıgı saptanmıstır.
