Asi Nehri (Hatay, Türkiye) Cladocera ve Copepoda (Crustacea) faunası
Öz: Bu araştırmada, Doğu Akdeniz Bölgesinin önemli bir akarsuyu olan Asi Nehri'nin, Hatay (Türkiye) sınırları içinde kalan bölümündeki Kopepoda ve Kladosera (Crustacea) faunası, 1 yıl süreyle (1996 Eylül -1997 Ağustos) kalitatif yönden incelenmiştir. Örnekler, çalışma alanındaki 5 istasyondan aylık dönemlerde, göz açıklığı 60 $mu$ m olan plankton kepçesi ile toplanmış ve %4'lük formaldehit ile korunmuştur. Araştırmada, Kladosera grubuna dahil 15 tür ve Kopepoda grubuna dahil 7 tür olmak üzere, toplam 22 tür tanımlanmıştır. Kladosera grubundan Bosmina longirostris (O.F.Muller, 1785) yılın büyük bölümünde; Kopepoda grubundan Nitocra hibemica (Brady, 1880) 12 ay süresince ve Cyclops vicinus Uljanine, 1975 türü ise 11 ay boyunca gözlenmiştir.

Öz: Copepoda and Cladocera (Crustacea) fauna of Asi River (Hatay, Türkiye). In this study, Copepoda and Cladocera (Crustacea) fauna of the Asi River, a very importent river in the Eastern Mediterranean, was investigated qualitatively throughout one year (September-1996 and August-1997) in the province of Hatay, the Turkish part. The samples were obtained monthly from 5 stations through a plankton net of 60 $mu$ m mesh size and were preserved in 4% formaldehyde. A total of 22 species (15 Cladoceran .and 7 Copepoda) were identified. Bosmina longirostris (O.F.Muller, 1785) belonging to the Cladocera species was observed throughout most parts of the year, Nitocra hibemica (Brady, 1880) which belongs to the Copepoda was observed throughout 12 months, and finally Cyclops vicinus Uljanine, 1975 was observed throughout 11 months.
