TI  - CULTURAL COMPETENCE OF SOCIAL WORKERS BY PROFESSIONAL CHARACTERISTICS IN THE FOCUS OF EDUCATION
AB  - In the research, we hypothesized that the Turkish form of the ASK – Short Version is a valid and reliable to evaluate the cultural competence of social workers and our hypothesis was verified. We also analyzed the differentiation status of cultural competence by the professional characteristics in the focus of social work education. Online survey was applied to 303 social workers. As a conclusion, cultural competence increased as the educational level and duration of professional experience increased, and cultural competence differed by the status of knowing a good level of a second language and the frequency of needing supervision support.
