Otel İşletmelerinde Dış Kaynak Kullanımı: TOPSIS Yöntemi ile Bir Uygulama

Öz:
Dış kaynak kullanımı turizm işletmeleri için temel faaliyetlerine odaklanmaları açısından önem taşımaktadır. Sahip olduğu önem açısından hangi hizmetlerin dış kaynak kullanımı ile temin edileceğinin belirlenmesi stratejik kararlardan birisidir. Dış kaynak hizmetini sunan işletmelerin seçiminde farklı kriterlerin yer alması sebebiyle, bu problem çok kriterli karar verme problemi (ÇKKV) olarak ele alınabilmektedir. ÇKKV problemlerinin çözümüne yönelik çok sayıda nicel ve nitel yöntem bulunmakta olup, TOPSIS yöntemi sıklıkla başvurulanlardan birisidir. Literatür taraması yapıldığında bu yöntemin çeşitli ÇKKV problemlerinde başarılı uygulamalarının bulunduğu görülmüştür. Literatürde dış kaynak kullanımı seçiminde TOPSIS uygulamaları incelendiğinde ise, bu uygulamaların genellikle lojistik hizmetleri için gerçekleştirilmesi ve turizm sektöründe dış kaynak kullanımına yönelik TOPSIS uygulamasının bulunmaması bu çalışmanın önemini ortaya koymaktadır. Bu çalışmada, Alanya’da bir turizm işletmesinin, dış kaynak hizmet sağlayıcısının seçim problemi ele alınmıştır. Dış kaynak kullanımı olarak ifade edilebilen danışmanlık hizmeti için, işletme tarafından belirlenen alternatifler, kriterler doğrultusunda TOPSIS yöntemi ile sıralanmış ve işletme için en uygun hizmet sağlayıcısı belirlenmiştir.

Öz:
The tourism sector is considered as one of the important service sectors for our country. In terms of importance, determining which services will be outsourced is one of the strategic decisions. Since there are different criteria in the selection of outsourcing companies, this problem can be considered as a multi-criteria decision-making problem (MCDM). When TOPSIS applications are examined in the selection of outsourcing in the literature, the realization of these applications for logistics services and the absence of TOPSIS application for outsourcing in the tourism sector reveals the importance of this study. In this study, the selection problem of a tourism firm that receives outsourcing service in Alanya is discussed. Consultancy firms that they prefer for tourism businesses are important for the successful implementation of quality systems. The alternatives determined by the company for the consultancy service that can be expressed as outsourcing are listed with TOPSIS method in line with the criteria and the most suitable service provider for the business is determined.
