Öz: Bağrikurt Formasyonunun içerdiği metasedimanter kayaçların petrografik ve jeokimyasal yönden incelenmesi petrografik ve jeokimyasal olarak bir dizilim gösterir. Psammit ve kuvarsitler pasif veya aktif kıta kenarı oluşumlarıdır. Çörtler sığ su ortamlarıyla ilişkili olarak çökelmişlerdir. Bileşimleri tabakalı silikatların kontrolünde olan pelitik kayaçların kökeni şeyllerdir. Pelitik kayaçlar içinde yer alan metabazitlerin kökeni muhtemelen tüflerdir. Kalkerli şistler orijinal olarak değişik miktarda kil içeren silisifiye kireçtaşlarıdır.

Öz: The petrographic and geochemical investigations of the metasedimentary rocks in the Bağrikurt formation indicate a great range in petrography and geochemistry. The psammite and quartzites have a passive or active continental margin setting. The cherts have been deposited in a relatively shallow water environments. The pelitle rocks were originally shales in which the main control in composition was the sheet silicates. The metabasic schist were possibly tuffs in the pelites. The calcareous schists were originally impure siliceous limestone with variable amounts of clay material.
