Effects of lead (Pb++) and copper (Cu++) on the growth of root, shoot and leaf of bean (Phaseolus vulgaris L.) seedlings

Öz:
Bu çalışmada klor tuzu halinde uygulanan bakır ve kurşunun fasulye fidelerinin kök, gövde ve yaprak büyümesi üzerindeki etkileri araştırıldı. Her iki ağır metalin de fidelerin kök, gövde ve yaprak büyümesini önemli oranlarda engellediği tespit edildi. Ağır metal tuzunun konsantrasyonundaki artış ile kök, gövde ve yaprak büyümesinin inhibisyon oranı arasında bir paralellik görüldü. Fidelerin ağır metale maruz kalma süresinin uzaması kök, gövde ve yaprak büyümesindeki azalmanın daha fazla olmasına yol açtı. Kurşun ve bakır stresine kök büyümesinin daha duyarlı olduğu, bunu gövde ve yaprak büyümesinin takip ettiği belirlendi. Kurşun ve bakır birbiriyle kıyaslandığında bakırın daha toksik olduğu tespit edildi. Sonuçlar p<0.05 ve p<0.01 düzeylerinde istatistik analize tabi tutuldu.
