Computer aided constrained optimisation of cutting conditions in drilling operations on a CNC lathe by using geometric programming
Öz: This paper discusses the use of the geometric programming method to determine the optimum values of cutting speed and feed rate which yield minimum cost in a drilling operation that is performed on a CNC lathe. During the formulation of the problem a number of constraints are considered.
