Kanserden korunma

Prevention from cancer

Öz:
Prevention from cancer Cancer is one of the most frequent reasons of death in population. Prevention from cancer is possible only by demonstrating the etiological factors and avoiding these factors. Environmental factors and hereditary factors are the main two groups leading to carcinogenesis. Smoking, type of diet, obesity, hormones, viruses, physical and chemical agents are the examples of environmental factors. Cancer may develop in chronic inflammatory diseases and in even a benign tumor. Demonstrating hereditary forms of cancer, performing specific molecular genetic analysis and genetic counseling are the most important approaches in preventing from hereditary forms of cancer.
