Serebral palsili adolesan ve genç erişkinlerin çalışma ve sosyal durumları

Öz:

Amaç: Bu çalışmanın amacı Serebral Palsili (SP) adolesan ve genç erişkinlerin iş, eğitim ve sosyal durumlarını araştırmaktır. Gereç ve Yöntem: Çalışmaya 15 yaşın üzerindeki 29 SP'li hasta dahil edildi. Hastaların öykü ve fizik muayene ile demografik özellikleri, SP tipi, ambulasyon ve cihaz durumu, ortalama tanı yaşı değerlendirildi. Ayrıca sosyal güvencesi, eğitim durumu, iş durumu, hobileri ve gelir durumu sorgulandı. Bulgular: Bütün hastaların sosyal güvencesi vardı ve hepsi aileleri ile yaşıyordu. Yirmidokuz hastadan sadece 2 hastanın işi vardı ve diğer hastaların geçimini aileleri sağlıyordu. Hastaların %58,7'si eğitimsizdi ve büyük çoğunluğunun ailesi (%72,4) orta gelir grubundaydı. Sonuç: Toplumsal seviyede ambulasyonu olanlar dahil olmak üzere SP'li erişkinlerin çoğunluğu ailesiyle birlikte yaşamakta ve aile desteği ile geçimini sürdürmektedir.

Employment and social issues in adolescents and young adults with cerebral palsy

Öz:

Objective: The aim of this study was to evaluate employment and social issues in adolescents and young adults with cerebral palsy (CP). Materials and Methods: Twenty-nine patients with CP over 15 years were included in the study. Patients were investigated for their demographical properties, classification of CP, ambulation status, orthoses, mean age at diagnosis, social insurance, education and employment status, hobbies and family income. Results: All of the patients had social insurance and lived with their families. Two of the 29 patients were employed and the others were completely dependent on their families. About sixty percent (58.7%) of the patients were non-educated and most of the patients (72.4%) were in the middle income group. Conclusion: Most of the CP patients including social ambulation group lived with their families and were financially depended on their families.
