Şiddetin Sosyo-Kültürel Kaynakları Üzerine Sosyolojik Bir Yaklaşım

Öz:
Sosyolojik açıdan şiddet olgusu çok sayıda değişken tarafından çözümlenmektedir. Bu çalışma, ülkemizde gerçekleşen şiddet pratiklerinin büyük ölçüde, sosyo-kültürel ve ailesel kaynaklarını kuramsal açıdan irdelemeyi hedeflemektedir. Bu çerçevede, bireylerin deneyimlediği kültürel yapı, sosyalleşme biçimi ve aile yapısı gibi faktörlerin bireylerin şiddete eğilimli olmalarında veya şiddet davranışlarını sergilemelerindeki etkisi/rolü açıklanmaya çalışılmış ve sonuç olarak şiddet davranışlarının kültürel- yapısal ve etkileşimsel faktörlerden oluşan genel bir kuramsal perspektif tarafından daha iyi çözümlenebileceği ileri sürülmüştür.

A Sociological Approach on the Socio-Cultural Sources of Violence

Öz:
The violence phenomena is sociologically analyzed by many variables. This study aims at empasizing greatly the socio-cultural and family-related sources of the violence applications mostly with a theoretical view-point with this respect, the effect of the factors like the cultural structure experienced by the individuals, the type of being socialized and their family structure on their being inclined to commit crime and behaving violently has been tried to be explained and finaly. It has been claimed that violent behaviors can be better explained by a general theoretical perspective consisting of the cultural-structural and inteactive factors.
