Üniversite Seçiminde Etkili Olan Faktörlere İlişkin Eğitim Fakültesi Öğrencilerinin Görüşleri

Öz:
Bu araştırmanın temel amacı, üniversite seçiminde etkili olan faktörlere ilişkin olarak eğitim fakültesi öğrencilerinin görüşlerini belirlemektir. Araştır­manın çalışma alanını, 2005-2006 öğretim yılında Abant İzzet Baysal Üniversite­si Eğitim Fakültesinde okuyan 947 öğrenci oluşturmuştur. Çalışmada veriler an­ket yoluyla elde edilmiştir. Verilerin analizinde aritmetik ortalama, standart sap­ma, t-testi ve tek yönlü varyans analizi kullanılmıştır. Araştırmada elde edilen temel bulgulara göre üniversitenin öğrencilerin ilgili olduğu alana sahip olma­sının, okul seçiminde öğrencilere göre "çok" etkili olduğu görülmektedir. Okul seçimine etki eden faktörlere ilişkin ailelerin gelir düzeyleri ve anne/baba eği­tim düzeylerine göre öğrencilerin görüşleri arasında farklılık bulunmaz iken, sı­nıf ve bölüm değişkenlerine göre öğrencilerin görüşleri arasında farklılık bulun­duğu tespit edilmiştir.

Perceptions of Students Faculty of Education in Relation to the Factors Influenced on the Selection of the University

Öz:
The main purpouse of this study is to identify the perceptions of stu­dents faculty of education in relation to the factors influenced on selection of university. The subject (n: 947) of this study were the students Faculty of Education of Abant izzet Baysal University during 2005-2006 academic year. For this study, the data were collected through a questionnaire and for the analysis of the data, the mean and standard deviation scores were calculated and t-test and one-way anova were used. The results of this study indicated that for the selection of the school, according to the grade level and department variable, the university should be higly familiar with the students' interests, no meaningful difference was found between the students' perceptions and the family income level and the educational level of parents, however; meaningful differences were found between the students' perceptions and the grade level and the department of students.
