Yenilik Yönelimi ve Örgütsel Faktörler

Özet: Günümüzün değişken ve belirsiz çevre koşullarında örgütsel başarının temel kaynağı yenilik yönelimli olmaktır; çünkü örgütler ancak yenilikyoluyla sürdürülebilir rekabetavantajıyakalayabilmekte, performanslarını iyileştirmekte ve dinamizmi yakalayabilmektedirler. Bir örgütün yenilik yönelimini ise büyük ölçüde örgütsel faktörler belirler. Bu nedenle çalışmamızın amacı, örneğimizde yer alan örgütlerin yenilik yönelimlerini belirlemek ve örgütsel faktörlerin, örgütlerin yenilik yönelimi üzerine etkilerini ortaya koymaktır. Bu amaca ulaşabilmek için büyük ölçekli örgütlerde anket çalışmasına dayalı bir araştırma yapılmıştır. Elde edilen sonuçlar; örneğimizde yer olan örgütlerden 46’sının oldukça düşük düzeyde yenilik yönelimli olduğunu ve risk alma, ödül ve teşvik sistemi, örgütsel yapı, kaynak varlığı ve yönetsel destek gibi örgütsel faktörlerin örgütlerin yenilik yönelimi üzerinde önemli ölçüde etkili olduğu ortaya koymuştur.

Öz:
In today’s variable and uncertain environmental conditions, the main source of organizational success is being innovation oriented because organizations can get sustainable competitive advantage, improve their performance and reach dynamism only by innovation. Organizational factors mostly determine an organization’s innovation orientation. So, the aim of our study is to determine the innovation orientation of companies in our sample and explain the effects of organizational factors on innovation orientation of organizations. In order to achieve this goal, a questionnaire based survey was conducted on large organizations. The findings showed that46 of the organizations in our sample was lowly innovation oriented, and organizational factors such as risk taking, reward and incentive system, organizational structure, resource possession and managerial support are significantly effective on innovation orientation of organizations.
