Post-kor uygulamalarında başarısızlıklar

Öz:
Aşırı madde kaybına uğramış endodontik tedavili dişlerde, restorasyona tutuculuk sağlamak amacıyla post-kor sistemlerinden biri kullanılmaktadır. Bu makalede geniş bir literatür taraması yapılarak, post-kor uygulamalarında karşılaşılan başarısızlık tiplerinden söz edilmiştir. Başarıda rol oynayan en önemli etken doğru endikasyonun konulması ve uygulamada ana prensiplerin takip edilmesidir. Henüz uzun takip sonuçları olmamasına rağmen, başarısızlığın tipi, telafi edilebilirliği ve sıklığı bakımından en uygun olan post tipinin fiber destekli postlar olduğu görülmektedir.

Failure in post-core restorations

Öz:
To provide retention to the final restoration of endodontically treated teeth with severe tooth tissue loss one of the post-core systems is preferred. In this article, the types of failure in application of post-core are mentioned by performing a comprehensive literature review. The most important factors effecting success are the establishment of the correct indication and following the main principles. Although there are no long time follow-up reports, fiber posts seemed to be the most suitable type when considering the type, compensation and the frequency of the failure.
