LENFÖDEM
Öz: Lenfatik sistem dolaşım sistemindeki fizyolojik dengenin korunmasında önemli rolü olan bir sistemdir. Bu sistemin işleyişinin aksaması sonucu ortaya çıkan lenfödem hastayı fizyolojik ve psikolojik olarak etkilemektedir. Hemşire lenfödemi önlemek ve lenfödemi olan hastaya kaliteli bir bakım sunabilmek için öncelikle lenfödemi tanımalıdır. Bu makalede lenfatik sistemin işleyişi, lenfödemin türleri, lenfödeme yol açan durumlar, lenfödem tanısının konulması, tedavisi ve önlenmesi ele alınmaktadır.

Lymphedema
Öz: Lymphatic system act an important role to prevent the physiologic equiliubrium in the circulatory system. Lymphedema which is developed because ofmisfunction of this system affects the patient physically and psychologically. Nurses should understand lymphedema to prevent lymphedema or to give quality care to patients with lymphedema. In this article the mechanism of lymphatic system; the kinds, causes, diagnosis, treatment and prevention of lymphedema is discussed.
