Ergenlerde Beden İmgesi Üzerine Bir Çalışma

Öz:

Bu çalışmada ergenlerde beden imgesi ile ilgili literatür taraması yapılmıştır. Beden imgesine verilen önem, kilo kontrol davranışını etkileyen faktörler ve en sık kullanılan kilo kontrol yöntemleri incelenmiştir. Yapılan çalışmaların verilerinden yola çıkılarak yeme bozukluğu riski taşıyabilecek bir risk grubu tanımlanmıştır. Bunun yanı sıra yurtdışında yapılan önleme çalışmalarına değinilmiş ve Türkiye de yapılabilecek yeme bozukluğunu önleyici çalışmalar için önerilerde bulunulmuştur.

A Study About body Image in Adolescence

Öz:

This study is a literature review regarding body image in adolescence. The factors effecting importance of body image, weight control behavior and commonly used weight control methods are examined. Based on the general findings of the studies, a risk group is defined for the eating disorder. Moreover, prevention studies of eating disorders are mentioned and suggestions are made for the prevention studies in Turkey.
