Yalnızlık
Öz: Yalnızlık tanımlanması güç ve karmasık bir durumdur. Her an herkes yalnız kalabilir. Bazen baskalarının yanında da kendimizi yalnız hissederiz. Yalnızlık bireyin çevresine olan güvensizligini arttırarak uyumunu ve yasamını zorlastırır. Bu nedenle yalnızlık yaralayıcı bazen de öldürücü olabilir. Yalnızlık ruhsal hastalıkların ve özellikle de depresyonun olusmasında belirleyici bir etkiye sahiptir. Yalnızlık yas, cinsiyet ve sosyal sınıf gibi degiskenlerle yakından iliskili olup büyük ölçüde sosyo-ekonomik yapı tarafından belirlenir. Artan sosyal hareketlilik, kapitalizmin bireyci ve materyalist dogası ve degisen degerler yalnızlık deneyimlerini arttırmaktadır.

Öz: Solitude is a difficult and complex term to define. Everyone can feel lonely now and then. Sometimes, we also feel lonely when we are not alone. Solitude makes life difficult for people and their adaptation by increasing distrust.Loneliness can be harmful and fatal. For, loneliness has a domain effect on forming of depression (causes/brings about depression). Solitude is determined by socio-economic structure and it is connected with social variables such as age, gender and social class. Social mobility and, narcissist and materialistic nature of capitalism and changing values create experiences of loneliness
