Ekinokokkosis tanısı

Öz:

Ekinokokkosis dünyanın bir çok bölgesinde ciddi morbidite ve mortaliteye yol açan bir zoonozdur. Türkiye'de enfeksiyon etkeni olarak Echinococcus granulosus ve Echinococcus multilocularis görülmektedir. Hastalığın tanısında epidemiyolojik veriler ve klinik bulguların yanı sıra kullanılan başlıca yöntemler görüntüleme yöntemleri ile serolojik testlerdir. Hastalığın erken tanısı, tedaviye erken dönemde başlanmasını ve morbiditenin azalmasını sağlar. Bu yazıda Ekinokokkosis tanısı gözden geçirilmiştir.

Diagnosis of Echinococcosis

Öz:

Echinococcosis is a zoonosis causing morbidity and mortality in many parts of the world. In Turkey, human infections due to Echinococcus granulosus and Echinococcus alveolaris are known. In addition to epidemiological and clinical findings, imaging techniques and immunodiagnostic methods are used in the diagnosis of the disease. Early diagnosis is important for treatment and prevention. In this paper the diagnosis of Echinococcosis is reviewed.
