Hasta gözüyle kanser

Öz:
Kanser, yakın zamana kadar ölüme hazırlık dönemi olarak yorumlanırdı. Ancak, tıptaki son gelişmelerle, bugün kanser hastalarının daha büyük bir bölümü tedavi edilerek topluma kazandırılmaktadır. Bu nedenle kanser, artık kronik bir hastalık olarak kabul edilmektedir. Hastaların kanserle başa çıkmalarında sağlık personeline önemli görevler düşmektedir. Bu makalede anlatılanlarla, sağlık personeli hasta ve yakınlarına, bu en zor deneyimlerinde daha çok yardımcı olabileceklerdir. Ayrıca, kanserle nasıl başa çıkılabileceğinin ipuçları verilecektir.

Cancer from the perspective of patients

Öz:
Until recently, cancer has often been interpreted as preparation for death. But, with the advance in medicine, today more number of cancer patients are cured and return to society. Thus, cancer can now be considered a chronic disease. Health planners and caregivers play an important role in helping cancer patients cope with cancer. With this article, caregivers can help patients and their family members to help themselves as they face one of life’s most difficult experiences. Moreover, you can find clues to cope with cancer.
