The problem of the free-will has a special importance throughout the history of philosophy. The principal reason lying behind this importance is that the disscussions whether our will is free or not are in fact related with the arguments explicating the nature-knowledge-human beings interaction. Determinists and indeterminists represent two main views for the solution of the problem. These ideas are being developed within a framework that one has to decide whether human beings are being determined by the enviromental and genetic factors or not; and if we are determined by these factors, at what degree we are determined. In this paper, it is tried to point out that enviromental and genetic factors cannot be used as a criteria for the solution of the problem of freewill. Hence, in terms of the discussions of the determinists and the indeterminists, it is argued that the problem of free-will remains unsolvable.
