Aile içi şiddet konusunda bir derleme
Öz: Savaşın olmadığı zamanlar dünyanın barış içinde yaşadığını düşünüyorsak yanılıyoruz. Eğer kadınlarımız ve çocuk yaşındaki genç kızlarımız evlerde, sokaklarda, okullarda ve işyerlerinde sık sık şiddetin her türlüsüne maruz kalıyorsa bu savaşın devam etmesidir ve durdurulması gerekmektedir. Tarihteki bulgular kadınlara yönelik şiddet içerikli davranışların her bir ırk, kültür, din, ulus ve ideolojilerdeki erkekler tarafından yapıldığını ve kadınların insan olarak değil sadece bir nesne, bir ödül ve savaşın bir hatırası olarak her türlü şiddete maruz kaldıklarını göstermektedir. Özellikle erkeğin kadından üstün görüldüğü ve kadın ve erkek rollerinin katı çizgilerle birbirinden ayrıldığı toplumlarda kadınların daha çok istismara maruz kaldıklarına tanık oluruz. Tüm bunlar sadece geçmişi çok uzuna dayanan trajedilere örnek teşkil etmezler; ne acı ki şimdilerde yaşanan ve hatta gelecekte yaşanacak olan trajedilere de örnek teşkil ederler. Diğer bir deyişle, şiddet babadan oğula geçer, mağduriyet de anneden kıza ve şiddet nesilden nesile taşınır. Aile içi şiddeti konu alan olan bu derleme yazısı aile içi şiddetin tarihini, çeşitlerini ve etkilerini ele alacak ve aile içi şiddetin önleyici yollarını tartışacaktır.
