İlk ve ortaöğretim okulu öğretmenlerinin özgecilik düzeyleri üzerine bir araştırma

Öz:

Bu çalışmada ilk ve ortaöğretim okulu öğretmenlerinin özgecilik düzeyleri saptanmaya çalışılmıştır. İlişkisel modelde desenlenen çalışmanın evrenini, İstanbul ili Maltepe ve Kartal ilçelerindeki ilk ve ortaöğretim okullarında görev yapan 5262 öğretmen oluşturmaktadır. Çalışmanın örneklemi, oranlı ve random örnekleme yöntemi ile belirlenen 318 öğretmenden oluşmaktadır. Çalışmada veri toplama aracı olarak Yavuzer vd. (2006) tarafından geliştirilen Öğretmen Özgeciliği Ölçeği kullanılmıştır. Verilerin çözümlenmesinde bağımsız gruplar t-testi, tek yönlü Varyans analizi ve Pearson çarpım momentler korelâsyon analizinden yararlanılmıştır. Çalışmada elde edilen bulgular, öğretmenlerin özgecilik düzeylerinin yüksek düzeye yakın olduğunu göstermektedir.

A research on altruism levels of the primary and secondary school teachers

Öz:

The purpose of this study is to determine the altruism levels of the teachers who work in primary and secondary schools. The population of the study which is designed in a relational model includes 5262 teachers who work in primary schools and secondary schools in Maltepe and Kartal Districts in Istanbul. The sample group of this study includes 318 teachers who have been chosen by proportional and random sampling method. In this study, the Teacher Altruism Scale, which was developed by Yavuzer et al. (2006), has been used as a means of data collection. In data analysis, Independent "t" test, One Way Analysis of Variance and Pearson Correlation Coefficient test have been used. The findings obtained from the study have shown that the altruism levels of the teachers are close to a high level.
