Türkiye’de bir Ceylanda (Gazella subgutturosa) kutanöz miyaz vakası

Öz:

Miyaz dünyada, özellikle tropikal ve subtropikal bölgelerdeki hayvanlarda oldukça yaygın olarak bulunmaktadır. Bu çalışmada bir ceylanda (Gazella subgutturosa) tespit edilen kutanöz miyaz vakası tanımlanmıştır. Ceylandan elde edilen larvaların mikroskopik incelemesinde birinci ve üçüncü dönem Lucilia sericata larvaları olduğu teşhis edilmiştir. Bu makalede miyazın klinik ve epidemiyolojik önemi tartışılmıştır.

A Case of cutaneous Myiasis in a Gazella (Gazella Subgutturosa) in Turkey

Öz:

Myiasis can be found worldwide in animals but it is more prevalent in tropical and subtropical regions. This study was undertaken to determine traumatic cutaneous myiasis in Gazelle (Gazella subgutturosa). During microscopic examination, the larvae were identified as the first and third larva of Lucilia sericata. The epidemiological and clinical significance of myiasis has been discussed.
