ADOPTION OF MOBILE APPLICATION: A STUDY WITH TECHNOLOGY ACCEPTANCE MODEL

Öz:
With the development of technology, mobile applications have become indispensable for societies and individuals for nearly 20 years. Mobile applications serve in many different areas like communication, education, entertainment, shopping, travel and health. The aim of this study is to examine the perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use for mobile applications and to determine the relationships between attitudes, intentions and actual usage of mobile applications. For this purpose, the reasons behind the adoption of mobile application has been tried to be identified. The convenience sampling method was used for the selection of sample. 1000 data were obtained and structural equation modeling was used for analysis. As a result of the study, it has been understood that applications with easy-to-use have a great effect on the choice of users. Users often choose applications that are easy to understand, not cumbersome, and easily available. In addition, it is understood that users who feel trust in mobile applications can recommend to people around them, and they will promote the use of mobile applications both in their social lifes and in their jobs.
