The Effect of COVID-19 Pandemicon Society: A Case of Azerbaijan

Öz:
Objective: In January 2020, a coronavirus (CoV) thought to have passed from a wild animal market tohuman in Wuhan, China initiated the coronavirus disease-19 (COVID-19) that became a pandemic. All these countries and the world were spread in such a way that the virus some how went beyond the city of Wuhan. The disease also appeared in Azerbaijan after European countries. In order tomoreactively combat the CoV pandemic, it is important to know the susceptibility of the Azerbaijani society to the virus, the level of compliance with the measures taken and the level of trust, respectively. The purpose of the study is to determine how Azerbaijani society is influenced by the CoV, its sensitivity and level of social trust. Material and Methods: The study was conducted in Azerbaijani society via the internet using a simple sampling method. The study used the COVID19 Pandemic Society Scale. The scale was confirmed by the analysis of reliability and validity. Research results were processed using frequency analysis, ANOVA and t-test. Results: Despite the fact that Azerbaijani society is not overly sensitive to the epidemic, it is seriously committed to taking measures to prevent a pandemic. They takes care of hygiene and personal hygiene, as well as the protection of social distance and stay at home and does not find much success with other countries in the fight against the pandemic of Azerbaijan. Azerbaijani society refrains from taking economic measures. Conclusion: It is seen that there is a need to increase the sensitivity and social trust of the Azerbaijani community in CoV. This study, which will be regarded as a pioneering study, should be applied to a wide raudience and the practices should be reviewed according to there sults to be obtained.

Autoinflammatory Periodic Fever Syndromes

Öz:
Autoinflammatory periodic fever syndromes are a group of diseases mostly presenting in childhood and characterized by recurrent fever and inflammation attacks as a result of an innate immune system activation. Familial Mediterranean fever (FMF) is the most common periodic fever syndrome in Mediterranean countries such as Turkey. Other hereditary autoinflammatory periodic fever syndromes are classified as rare diseases. In this review, the clinical features, recommended classification criteria and treatment options of FMF, tumor necrosis factor (TNF) receptorassociated periodic fever syndrome (TRAPS), mevalonate kinase (MVK) deficiency, cryopyrin-associated periodic fever syndrome (CAPS), and periodic fever, aphthous stomatitis, pharyngitis and adenitis (PFAPA) syndrome were evaluated.
