Öğretmen Adaylarının Öğrenme Ortamına Web 2.0 Teknolojilerini Entegre Edebilme Yeterliliği

Öz:

Bu çalışmanın amacı, Bilgisayar ve Öğretim Teknolojileri Eğitimi (BÖTE) bölümü öğretmen adaylarının web 2.0 araçlarını öğrenmeortamına entegre edebilme düzeylerini incelemektir. Özel durum yöntemi kapsamında yürütülen çalışmaya 47 BÖTE öğretmeni adayıkatılmıştır. Veri toplama aracı olarak, öğretmen adaylarına 35 kategoride sınıflanan web 2.0 araçlarının bulunduğu bir bilgi toplamaformu verilerek onlardan bu araçları öğrenme ortamlarına nasıl entegre edebilecekleri konusunda bir örnekle açıklama yapmalarıistenmiştir. Öğretmen adaylarının entegrasyon konusunda yaptıkları açıklamalar, yeterli, kısmen yeterli ve yetersiz kategorilerikullanılarak çözümlenmiştir. Analiz üç araştırmacı tarafından ayrı ayrı yapılmış ve sonrasında yapılan analizler kontrol edilerek fikirbirliğine varılmıştır. Elde edilen bulgular çerçevesinde; Web 2.0 araçlarını öğrenme ortamına entegrasyon edebilme düzeylerinin%12,77’si yeterli; %72,34’ü kısmen yeterli ve %14,89 yetersiz kategorilerinde yer aldığı tespit edilmiştir. Sonuç olarak, aslındaöğretmen adaylarının web 2.0 araçları hakkında bilgileri mevcut olmasına rağmen bu araçları öğrenme ortamlarına entegre edebilmekonusunda zorluklar yaşadıkları belirlenmiştir. Öğretmen adaylarının lisans eğitimleri sürecinde web 2.0 araçlarının öğrenmeortamında kullanımına fırsat sunacak ortamların sunulması önerilmektedir. Bunun yanı sıra öğretmen adaylarına öğretim sürecindekullanılabilecek güncel web 2.0 araçlarının öğretilmesi yeterli değildir, aynı zamanda bu araçlar öğretilirken kullanabilecekleri uygunöğretim yaklaşımları ve araçların etkili kullanılması konularında da tecrübe kazanmaları sağlanmalıdır.

Öz:

The aim of this study was to examine the level of prospective teachers of Computer Education and Instructional Technology (CEIT) to integrate web 2.0 tools into the learning environment (course). In this study, case study method is used with 47 prospective teachers studying at Computer and Instructional Technologies (CEIT) department.As data collection tool, information form was used. . In this form, web 2.0 tools are classified in 35 categories, and students were asked to explain how they can integrate tools into their courses with an example. The explanations made by prospective teachers about integration were analyzed by content analysis by using sufficient, partially sufficient, and insufficient categories. The analysis was conducted separately by three researchers, then the analyzes were checked and a consensus was reached. When the distribution of scores of prospective teachers for the categories related to the levels of integration of web 2.0 tools into the learning environment (lesson) is examined, 12.77% of the prospective teachers’ information are sufficient; 72.34% of them were found to be partially sufficient and 14.89% of them were insufficient. As a result, although it was known that the prospective teachers have information about web 2.0 tools, they have difficulties in integrating these tools into their learning environments (courses). Therefore, it was recommended to organize activities that will increase the experience of web 2.0 tools for pre-service and in-service training applications. In addition, it wasnot enough to teach the prospective teachers the current web 2.0 tools that can be used in the teaching process, but they should also gain experience in the appropriate teaching approaches and effective use of these tools.
