In the study, "Separation Anxiety Rating Scale-Parent Form"; "Adult Separation Anxiety Questionnaire" and "Parenting Attitude Scale" were used. Independent samples t-test was used to examine whether the separation anxiety levels of the parents of children with low separation anxiety and their attitudes towards parenting were significantly different from those of the parents of children with high separation anxiety. The separation anxiety of both mothers and fathers of children with high fear of being alone and abandonment was found to be high, and their marital satisfaction was found to be low. Mothers of children with high fear of being alone were found to have more negative attitudes towards parenting compared to mothers of children with low fear of being alone. It was observed that the mothers of children with high fear of abandonment had low general attitudes and interests towards parenting. However, the parental self-efficacy and interest levels of the mothers of children with high and low fear of being alone were not found to be different. interests towards parenting. However, the parental self-efficacy and interest levels of the mothers of children with high and low fear of being alone were not found to be different.
