Karar verme stilleri ve beş faktör kişilik özelliklerinin bağlanma stilleri açısından incelenmesi .

Öz:
Bu araştırmanın amacı, üniversite öğrencilerinin bağlanma stillerinin karar vermede öz saygı, karar verme stilleri ve beş faktör kişilik özelliklerini anlamlı düzeyde yordayıp yordamadığını saptamaktır. Araştırmaya Selçuk Üniversitesinin farklı fakültelerinde öğrenim görmekte olan 313'ü kız ve 254'ü erkek olmak üzere toplam 567 öğrenci katılmıştır. Araştırma sonuçları öğrencilerin bağlanma stillerinin bütün olarak karar vermede özsaygı, karar verme stilleri ve beş faktör kişilik özellikleri puanlarını anlamlı düzeyde yordadığını göstermektedir. Karar vermede öz saygı, karar verme stillerinden dikkatli, kaçıngan ve erteleyici puanlarının en önemli yordayıcısı güvenli bağlanma stili iken panik karar verme stilinin en önemli yordayıcısının ise korkulu bağlanma stilinin olduğu görülmüştür. Beş faktör kişilik özellikleri ile ilgili olarak ise nevrotizm, dışadönüklük, deneyime açıklık ve yumuşak başlılık puanlarının en önemli yordayıcısı güvenli bağlanma stili iken sorumluluk alt boyutunun en önemli yordayıcısı saplantılı bağlanma stilidir.

An investigation of decision making styles and the five-factor personality traits with respect to attachment styles

Öz:
The aim of this research is to investigate if the attachment styles significantly predict the decision self-esteem,decision making styles and five-factor personality traits. Subjects of the study were 567 students in total from dif- ferent faculties of Selçuk University. The results of the study showed that the attachment styles of the studentssignificantly predict decision self-esteem, decision making styles and personality traits. It was seen that secureattachment style is the most significant predictor of decision self-esteem and vigilance, buck-passing, procras- tination scores of decision making styles, whereas the most significant predictor of hypervigilance decision ma- king style is fearful attachment style. Secure attachment style is the most significant predictor of neuroticism,extraversion, agreeableness, openness to experience sub-dimensions of personality traits and the most signifi- cant predictor of conscientiousness is preoccupied attachment style.
