Sayburç: Şanlıurfa’da Yeni Bir Çanak Çömleksiz Neolitik Dönem Yerleşimi

Öz:
Sayburç, Şanlıurfa Neolitik Çağ Araştırma Projesi kapsamında kazılmakta olan bir Çanak Çömleksiz Neolitik Dönem yerleşimidir. Sayburç’taki Neolitik iskân, birbirine yakın iki ayrı alanda gelişmiştir. Burada Neolitik Çağ’ın ardından Roma Dönemi’nde küçük bir yerleşim kurulmuş, yakın çevredeki kayalıklara taş ocakları açılmıştır. Alan uzun bir boşluğun ardından 1940’ların sonlarında Yoğunburç Köyü'nün Sayburç Mahallesi olarak tekrar iskân edilmiştir. Bu yazıda buradaki Çanak Çömleksiz Neolitik Dönem yerleşiminde 2021 yılında başlayan arkeolojik çalışmalar tanıtılmakta ve ilk yılın sonuçları değerlendirilmektedir.

Öz:
Sayburç is a Pre-Pottery Neolithic settlement being excavated as part of the Şanlıurfa Neolithic Research Project. The Neolithic settlement in Sayburç developed in two different area near to each other. After the Neolithic, a small settlement was established in the area during the Roman Period, and then it was resettled as the Sayburç district of Yogunburç village in the late 1940s. In this paper, the archaeological research that started in the Pre-Pottery Neolithic Period settlement in Sayburç in 2021 are introduced and the results of the first year are evaluated.
